Making the choice to build your family through adoption or fostering is an
important decision. We'd like to help!
AASK specializes in the placement of children from the California foster care
system. Adoption of such children is sometimes referred to as
"special-needs adoptions" or "fost-adopt." AASK works with county social
service agencies throughout California. Most of the children have been removed
from their birth families due to abuse or neglect and may have "special needs"
as a result. There are children of all ages in need of families, with most of
the children between the ages of 2 and 10. More detailed information
